Fr. Timoleon (Tim) Prattas

 

Fr. Tim was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Theology from the Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy in 2003 and a Masters in Divinity (with a specialization in Youth and Family Ministries) at Tyndale Seminary in May 2007.

 

Upon graduation, he was hired as the first full-time National Youth Director of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada). He also served as a Teaching Assistant for Byzantine Music at the Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy, and a member of the Metropolis Council, National Youth Board and Department of Religious Education.

Fr. Tim was ordained to the Holy Diaconate on May 13 2014 by His Eminence Metropolitan Sotirios of Toronto (Canada) at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto. On August 25 2014, Fr. Tim was ordained to the Holy Priesthood at Metamorphosis Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto. During this time, he was a Deacon and Assistant Priest at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community of London and Vicinity.

Fr. Tim began serving as our Parish Priest on December 1 2014.

Fr. Tim is married to Presbytera Sophia. Together, they have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading a good book.
